Welcome to my blog!

Welcome to my first post! I’m a bit out of my comfort zone here, as I never thought I would engage in sharing something so personal to the public as a blog, that is, beside the world of music I’m drawn into every day. I’ve probably invested more time in my life crafting music than even speaking, so in a sense, I rather view music as my mother-tongue, the medium in which I can best communicate the fantasy of my existence.

So, here I am, diving in the deep end of linguistic communication, and I haven’t got a clue where to start. I just know that this morning I was humbled to discover a comment online from a woman in eastern USA, who expressed her enjoyment in what I do, and suggested I start posting here from time to time. This inspired me to commence typing away.

What is it that I do then? A bit of context: I’m 23 years of age, moving around a bit from country to country, but settled in Düsseldorf for the time being. I’ve been playing my instrument for almost 21 years, and somehow I just can’t get enough of it. In fact throughout the years, my cello has served as my second most loyal companion, as I have been privileged to share my music in concert venues all over the world. My experiences range from being a regular guest soloist with orchestras on an international scale, to being an avid travelling chamber musician, recording artist, a keen teacher, and having a love for participating in symphonic programmes, given the opportunity. I just love it all!

Over the course of this blog, I’ll expand into just how fascinating it is to do music for a living, but for now I’ll just say I find joy in playing everything I can, playing with everyone I know, and performing everywhere I can!
